Tape Already Applied
Nothing has to be measured, cut or taped in advance. Peel the backing off the header, press it along the top of a door frame and let the strands fall. Two people are not required and neither is a ladder in most rooms. Taking it down at the end of the night is a single pull, and the curtain can be rolled around its header strip for the next party.
Orange, Purple And Black
Three colors alternating through the strands read as Halloween without a single printed word. Under a porch light or a string of purple bulbs the foil throws small moving reflections as people walk past, which does more for a hallway than a flat poster. Two curtains hung side by side widen the effect to about six and a half feet of wall, enough to stand a group in front of.
PET Film Strands
The strands are cut from PET film, which is why they do not tear when a child runs through the doorway they are hanging in. That is the usual failure point for a streamer curtain: one pass and it is in pieces on the floor. Here the material takes repeated handling, so the same two panels can go up at a party, come down, and go up again the following October.
Layered For A Doorway
Depth is the trick with foil curtains. Hung singly across a window they catch light; layered two deep in a doorway they hide what is on the other side until someone pushes through, which is most of what a haunted hallway needs. Behind a dessert table they turn a plain wall into a photo background, and paired with LED lights the strands pick up whatever color is pointed at them.
