A pair is the number most households need: one cover for the food and one for the table where cards and gifts pile up. Both are royal blue plastic, rectangular, printed in white and black with Class of 2024 and CONGRATS GRAD among grad caps and diplomas. The white lettering stays legible on blue in a room with the blinds down.

White Lettering On Royal Blue

Blue with white and black print is the combination that photographs cleanly, since the lettering keeps its contrast under a camera flash and under string lights. Caps and diplomas sit between the words rather than crowding them, so CONGRATS GRAD is still readable once serving dishes take up the middle of the table. Both covers carry the same design, so two tables read as one set.

Gift Table And Food Table

Two covers divide the afternoon's two jobs. The food table takes the spills, the crumbs and the punch; the second cover goes under the card box, the photo frames and the pile of wrapped gifts, where the surface underneath matters more because it is usually somebody's dining table. Neither has to be cleared for the other.

Rolled Out In Seconds

Setting a table with plastic is quick in a way cloth is not: unfold, pull it square and the job is done, with no ironing and no hunting for a tablecloth that fits. Creases from the packet drop out as the cover settles. When the guests have gone the whole thing is gathered up with the paper plates inside it.

Pinned Up As A Panel

Spare covers rarely stay on tables. One pinned flat to a wall gives the photo corner a blue background with the year written across it, and a strip cut from the second skirts the front edge of the cake table. Light plastic holds with a few strips of tape and lifts away from paint without a mark.
