Color In Glass Panels
Breaking the design into glass-style panels is what gives this flag its depth. The pumpkin glows at the center in segments of orange and gold, each block outlined, with the fall leaves around it treated the same way. From a few steps back it reads as a lit window rather than as a printed picture of a vegetable on cloth.
Acorns And Maple Leaves
Around the pumpkin the panel fills with colorful maple leaves and acorns, which keeps the composition from being one object on a plain ground. The leaf shapes pick up the same segmented treatment, so nothing in the design looks pasted on top. It is artwork a passerby stops to look at, which is more than most seasonal yard flags manage to do.
Light Rain And Wind
High-quality polyester handles the weather an autumn garden gets: sunlight through the middle of the day, wind off an open lawn and the light rain that comes with October. Weather-resistant and fade-resistant fabric keeps the segment outlines dark, since those lines are what make the stained glass effect work. A washed-out version of this print would lose its point.
Balcony Or Garden Bed
The sleeve hanger fits most standard stands, and the panel is small enough for places a larger flag crowds: a balcony rail, a flower bed between shrubs, the corner of a patio. On a walkway it marks the turn toward the front door. A flag pole is not included, so a stand already set in the lawn can simply be reused.
