Pool parties are hard on tables. Wet hands, dripping swimsuits, sunscreen and melting ice all end up on the surface within an hour. These two covers take that: PE plastic printed edge to edge with sea water, wide enough at 52 by 87 inches for most rectangular dining tables, and light enough to carry out to the deck under one arm.

Waves On Plastic

The print runs the full surface in blues and whites, so the table reads as water from a distance rather than as a cloth with a border. Set with white plates and clear cups, it does most of the theming for a beach or mermaid birthday on its own. Nothing else has to match. Two covers in the pack mean the food table and the craft table can be dressed the same way.

Picnic Table Drape

Each cover measures roughly 52 by 87 inches, which drapes a standard rectangular table with an overhang on all four sides. Indoors it fits a dining table; outdoors it covers a picnic table well enough that the boards underneath stop mattering. PE plastic weighs almost nothing, so the whole thing packs into a beach bag with the paper plates and does not need ironing on arrival.

Wet Hands Welcome

Waterproof is the practical reason to use plastic here. Spilled soda, dripping ice cream, oil from a plate of ribs and water off a swimsuit all sit on the surface instead of soaking into wood or fabric. A paper towel clears it. At the end of the afternoon the cover is either wiped and folded for the next weekend or thrown out with everything else, and no one is scrubbing a stain on Sunday night.

Wall Of Waves

The second cover often never reaches a table. Taped to a wall or pinned along a fence, it becomes a backdrop of open water behind a cake, a photo spot or an inflatable pool. The print is large enough that a phone camera picks up the waves rather than a pattern. Under an ocean themed birthday it also lines a shelf or covers a stack of storage bins nobody wants in the pictures.
