Children at a Christmas gathering need something to do between the meal and the presents. This pairing covers it twice over: a bingo game to play around the table and a giant coloring poster to spread on the floor afterward. The bingo cards are green, headed Merry Christmas Bingo, and come with a stack of square tokens for calling.
Each green card holds a five by five grid with a free space at the center, so the first mark is already given and a round starts moving immediately. The grid size keeps a game short enough to hold attention yet long enough to build some suspense before somebody calls out.
The squares show holiday pictures rather than numbers: Santa, a snowman, a gingerbread man, mittens, a wreath, stockings and a reindeer. Children who cannot read yet play on equal terms with the adults at the table, matching a picture on the grid instead of hunting for a printed number somebody has just called out.
A stack of matching square tokens comes with the cards, which is what one person draws from to call the round. The images on the tokens match the artwork on the grids, so there is no sheet to cross-reference and an older child can run the game alone.
The giant Xmas coloring poster is listed alongside the game, which gives the afternoon two gears. Bingo gets everyone loud around a table; the poster spreads out on a floor or a long surface and goes quiet, with several children coloring different corners of the same sheet.
Four holographic covers that shift color as guests move around the room, each 54 by 108 inches, for a Galentines brunch or a disco night.
Two 54 by 108 inch holiday table covers that fit an eight-foot table and take the spills of a Christmas dinner in their stride.
