Four to a Pack
We put four in the box because a party rarely runs on one table. A host can dress the food, the gifts and the seating without hunting for a second pack, and still keep one folded in reserve. A cover that takes a bowl of punch early in the night can be pulled off and replaced in under a minute, which is quicker than blotting a stain in front of guests.
Milestone Birthday Tables
Black with gold is the usual request for the birthdays people count in decades, and for retirement parties where the room is full of adults rather than children. The print carries a thirtieth, a fortieth, a fiftieth, a sixtieth or a seventieth without any change of theme, and the same covers work for a wedding reception, an engagement party or a baby shower later in the year.
PEVA That Wipes Clean
The material is PEVA plastic, light enough to carry in a shopping bag and thick enough that a fork does not go through it. Water sits on the surface instead of soaking in, so a knocked over glass can be caught with a paper towel before it reaches the wood. There is no plastic smell out of the pack, and the color does not lift when the cover is wiped.
Cut to Fit
Not every surface is eight feet long. The plastic cuts cleanly with kitchen scissors, so one cover can be split into runners for a pair of cocktail tables or trimmed to fit a narrow console by the door. Nothing goes in the wash afterwards. The used cover is folded in on itself with the crumbs inside and dropped in the bin, and the room is clear in a few minutes.
