The Manger at Center
The artwork is a classic Holy Night scene rather than a repeating pattern: the stable, the family gathered around the child, and the shining Bethlehem star above it. Laid down the middle of a dinner table it sits where everybody can see it between the dishes, which gives a Christmas meal the same subject as the service earlier in the day.
Candles and Nativity Sets
Decoration on a Christmas table comes in pieces that have to agree with each other. This runner takes candles down its length, a nativity set at the center, wreaths at either end and ornaments scattered between, without the print fighting any of them. On a buffet behind the table it does the same job under the serving dishes and the coffee things.
Soft, Wrinkle Resistant Fabric
Polyester is what keeps this out of the ironing pile. The fabric is soft to the hand, resists creasing and holds its color rather than fading, so it can go out at the start of Advent and stay on the table until the decorations come down. Spills and cutlery scratches land on the runner instead of the wood beneath it.
Church Hall and Classroom
Dining rooms are not the only rooms this fits. The same strip runs along a table at a church function, a Bible study evening, a parish supper or a classroom display, and the length suits a buffet or a coffee table as readily as a dining table. Faith-based decoration for those rooms is harder to find than general holiday trim.
